Yoga holiday to Yuva, Turkey 16 - 23 May 2011

A week-long trip to Yuva in Turkey, for yoga, meditation, swimming and walking.
Yuva is a glorious remote place right on the sea, with mountains behind. Accommodation is simple and the food is Turkish vegan, veggie, or fishy. We will do 3 sessions of yoga every day – a long asana session in the morning, a meditation and pranayama session before lunch, and a slower yin, asana and meditation session before supper. Sessions are of course optional. There is an excellent massage therapist on site.
There isn’t much else to do except swim, walk in the 40 acres of forest, and eat. Swimming is from rocks or little coves. We could go out exploring ancient ruins, or take a boat trip to a beautiful sandy beach, on one day.
So your daily routine might be
Yoga – breakfast – swim – yoga – lunch – walk/rest – yoga – swim - supper

Cost is £480 pp sharing a room (there are some log-cabins available for singles – please reserve these early, no extra charge) plus your flights to Dalaman which at the moment are about £210. Try www.airflights.co.uk The expedition would cost extra. If you choose not to come on the expedition, you will need to pay for your lunch that day (about £7).
The above cost includes transfers from Dalaman to Yuva and back, but is reliant on groups of 4 travelling together, so we need to liase and take flights arriving at similar times to ensure the cost of transfer stays low.
You will need to have your own insurance. Yuva requires this and I will need your insurance details when you pay the balance of the holiday. I can suggest some good, cheap insurers. A £10 visa payment is required on arrival in Turkey.
Please pay me a deposit of £75 to reserve your place (cheques to Sophie Carr). This deposit is non-refundable. The balance is payable by 31st March 2011. If spaces are available, you can of course book in after these dates.
